Baldock Fair and other Poems

The writer has lived and worked for nearly thirty years in the four towns now known as the North Hertfordshire District, and about half of these poems allude to this area. Notes in theAppendix will, it is hoped, make local - and other - references more intelligible to the general reader.

Except for the last two (which first appeared as prologue and epilogue to the Baldock Silver Jubilee Historical Review), none of the poems in this volume has previously been published.
