This photo was taken near one of the smaller site offices on the A507 having passed the now closed Warren Lane. We get the same "A507 Closed here 05:00h Sat 08 to 12:00h Sun 09 May" sign and a "Max speed 30" sign.
Standing on top of where the water mains diversion pipe crossed the A507 you can see a another "Max speed 30" sign along with a sign to let you know the road has been diverted round to the left and quickly back.

Only a small amount has been dug out under the temporary bridge at the moment, before works traffic can start using this it will need to get a lot deeper.

This photo show how the temporary bridge lines up with the old A507 road and again the bridge road height is higher than the A507.

Our new photos now show the starts of the ramp to get the old and new levels to meet.

The temporary bridge also has the starts of a surface on it. We where told that it should be completed by Sat 15th May 04 or around that time so we will try to keep you up to date with the photos.

Standing looking south you can see the bridge and how the level will have to come down to give works traffic access under the A507.

The temporary road next to the A507 will be short lived once the temporary bridge is in use. It will have to go to allow works traffic under the bridge.

Now the newer photo shows the start of the ramp up to the bridge height.

Looking south from the temporary bridge you can see the ground level being taken down for the new bypass.

The dumper truck and bulldozer are on the lower level, which is almost the deep and the 4x4 is tall.

The 4x4 also help give you a scale of the kit being used and amount of earth and chalk is to be moved.
